We have been working behind the scenes with Tiny for the past two years to bring to the UK a previously unannounced model. We present to you the Scania New Generation Emergency One Pump Ladder in 1:76 scale!
This is a fully licensed model by Scania, Emergency One and the fire services. The first release of the model will feature not one but two fire services
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service
For example the Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Services model will include the lower passenger door window referred to as the ‘cyclist window’ where the Scottish Fire and Rescue won’t as it’s not on the real thing! There are also differences to the rear light setup which have been incorporated into the design.
These models have been developed in partnership with Emergency One the UK’s leading Fire Appliance manufacturer based in Cumnock (Scotland) and with The Scottish Fire Brigades Heritage Trust & Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service and are fully licensed and endorsed by them.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service model is based on the very first Scania New Generation to go into active service for SFRS. SF69 BHU was the first from an initial batch of 15 delivered from Emergency One. It’s based at Blackness Road Fire Station in Dundee and has been since it started service.
The Leciestershire Fire and Rescue model is based on FJ21 DFV which is currently based at Central Fire Station in Leicester.
You will see all the progress pictures throughout the process below including the photos of the pre-production samples and the completed models.

The models are progressing through the factory and are on track for completion in June 2025
UPDATE JUNE 2025
The factory are just finishing packing the models ready for shipment in the next week. The shipping will take 4/5 weeks including clearing customs.
We will update this page and our Facebook page when they arrive at customs here and when they arrive with us. We will require time to sort and check the models before working through pre-orders of both models in pre-order date order.
If you have pre-ordered already and have been waiting some time we thank you for your patience! Yes there has been a few delays with the latest one being our fault as we made a few changes from the pre-production samples. This was to ensure we have the model as accurate as we possibly could within the manufacturing and finishing possibilities.
We have learned a lot through this first project for us commissioning our first ever UK Exclusive Diecast model. We can’t wait either to have the models in stock and start working through our largest ever pre-order to date.
We also love that you have all been so enthusiastic and positive about the project and have joined us in this amazing journey for a small family business based in Kinross, Scotland. Please note the pictures are of the pre-production samples and changes have been made. We will be releasing pictures of the finished models soon watch this space!
A little sneak peak of the box design is below. This is something we havent shared before.

UPDATE AUGUST 2025
The Scania New Gens are on the way to us! The container load carrying both the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service Models is currently on a container ship between Hong Kong and Felixstowe in the UK. We have an expected arrival date to the port as the 31st August. Weather and other World Impacts can impact this so please take this as a guide only!
On arrival to the UK they will require to be checked and cleared by customs which we know could put a week or two on this and then we have the delivery period to our HQ in Kinross, Scotland. We will be ready to start our checks when they arrive but will need some processing time like all model manufacturers do and then we will start dispatching pre-orders of both models. It will be at least the middle of September 2025 before the models arrive withu us.
If you would like a personal look at the finished models feel free to pop in and see them on display in our shop at Shedring Hobbies, Fruix Farm, Kinross, Scotland during our opening times. Search Shedring Hobbies in Google Maps to find us!
Both models are still available for pre-order.
